The domestic version of the “Silicon Valley”
Ukraine had been waiting for this event for a long time.
Alex Lutskiy, Innovecs’ CEO, attended the first Kiev Investment Forum, where the Memorandum on the establishment of an innovative park “Bionic Hill” was signed.
"Bionic Hill”- is a Ukrainian version of the American “Silicon Valley”, which is considered to be the center of the high-end technologies’ development. It will be located within the city, on 1A Ponomareva St., 2.5 km from the Kolcevaya St., 7.5 km from the “Akademgorodok” metro station and 20 km from the already modernized airport “Zhulyany.” It is planned to start building about 225,000 square meters of business centers, where technology corporations as well as business incubators, venture capital funds, banks and other organizations will be located. The project implies creation of research center with modern labs and specialized university with the total area of 25,000 square meters, as well as high-tech development zone, which is intended to become the platform for research findings' implementation and manufacturing of innovative products.
In order to fully implement the concept of “Work-Live-Study-Relax”, the park’s infrastructure will also include apartment blocks, hotels, schools, kindergartens, shopping malls and recreational areas such as parks and lakes. The only question is - when will this fairytale become a reality?
